The removal of the existing bridge carrying Route 28 over the MBTA Railroad. Work was performed on weekend shutdowns of the Commuter Rail. ACD removed existing deck, sidewalks, plate girders, floorbeams and portions of each abutment. ACD performed Stage 2 demolition the weekend of October 27. The Stage 2 demolition was completed 12 hours ahead of schedule!
