This project included the demolition of the former Raytheon Facility. The original building was a hangar for a former airport. Raytheon built around the hangar and added additional buildings. ACD removed the existing building and all associated foundations. ACD also performed non-traditional asbestos work including removal of a wall filled with vermiculite, roofing and transite conduit. The existing building was approximately 575,000 SF. Concrete and masonry were crushed by a subcontractor and used as fill beneath proposed parking lots.
